On Monday, I mentioned that Rob and I were drinking champagne in celebration, but I never told you guys what it was all about!

Rob passed his Real Estate test! After 4 months of studying like crazy, he took his 4 hour test on Monday morning and passed with flying colors!

He was studying when I was working on getting my Personal Training certification.

He was studying back when I was studying for my Personal Training certification.

Since he has been working his butt off every weekend for the past few months, this weekend was blissfully mellow. We watched a few movies, worked on a puzzle, and finally decorated our walls with some of the art we had made in Vietnam. Relaxing weekends may need to happen more often around here!

Let’s talk TV!

Clueless!

Being a healthy living blogger, and since Rob and I cook at home just about every night of the week, learning what to do with different ingredients really interests me. For that reason, there are three cooking shows on the Food Network right now that I am kind of obsessed with.

1. Chopped. This is my original cooking show obsession. I love the concept that the cooks are given four ingredients (some very random) and have to make something delicious through an appetizer, entree, and dessert round. Reductions seem to be a favorite technique on the show and it seems like almost every episode someone fails at making ice cream! When will they learn?

2. Cutthroat Kitchen. Rob and I both enjoy this show. The cooks are given money to bid on ridiculous things (mini kitchens, plastic utensils, microwaves) that they then “gift” to a competitor. It is pretty strategic not just for the cooking, but for how much, and what, to bid on.

3. Worst Cooks in America. My new favorite show! The two head chefs have scouted out some clueless cooks and are teaching them the ways of a kitchen. Some of the people on the show are hilarious in their cluelessness! I basically laugh through the whole show!

Of course, nothing will ever top The Amazing Race in terms of awesome TV for me, but there you have it!
