Questions to ask yourself to determine if this boot camp is right for you:
- Do you want to be more active and health conscious?
- Have you spent any time in the past crash dieting just to have it not work out?
- Do you want to improve your energy, level out your moods, and have your clothes fit better?
- Do you need a change, or some fresh air, in your workouts?
- Are you more successful when you have someone (or a whole group) keeping you accountable?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then this boot camp is just what you need!
How does the Spring Boot Camp work?
Once you register for the Spring Boot Camp, you will receive a confirmation email. On March 16, you will receive a month of workouts, access to the secret Facebook group, and your nutrition workbook.
As we move through the 4 weeks, you will have twice daily check ins via Facebook. The first check in will ask you a food or mindset question. The second check in will be specific to your workout, or intentional movement, for the day. Not only do you have a personal trainer and health coach at your fingertips, but you also have an incredible community of women doing the same thing you are and more than willing to support and encourage you throughout the month.
All workouts are designed to be completed at home, or in a gym. It will help if you have free weights or bands if you decide to complete your workouts at home. Add in a stopwatch and a place to move around and you are good to go!
The workouts are also designed to be modified or advanced however you need, so you never have to feel like a move is too hard causing you to just skip it. There is always a way to modify it so you get the most out of your fitness time.
In addition to movement, each week of the boot camp will have a different nutrition focus. The goal of this is to set yourself up for healthy habits and changes over time. I do not want you to feel overwhelmed by everything you “should” do all at once. The purpose is to create sustainable habits. The nutrition focuses for Spring Boot Camp are:
- Week 1: Quality Carbohydrates
- Week 2: Fruit and Vegetable Intake
- Week 3: Know Your Fats
- Week 4: Portioned Plates
You will also be asked to hydrate appropriately for your body each day of the boot camp.
