Happy Friday, friends! I hope you had a fantastically fast week and have some plans for the weekend.
In trying to be more consistent, I’m back with another Virtual Happy Hour Post for you all. Happy Hour posts are basically an update on the week, thoughts kicking around, and whatever else is happening life at the moment. So, pull up a cocktail (if it’s an appropriate hour), and enjoy some chat with me!
If we were at happy hour I would tell you that Snooki wrote a book. That’s all I have to say about that.
If we were at happy hour I would tell you that I’m officially a certified Health Coach! Becoming a Health Coach is something that has been on my mind for the past few years and a few months ago (ok, December), I bought the ACE book and got to work. I am thrilled for this new chapter in helping others live healthier lifestyles and achieve their goals. Make sure you’re signed up to receive the newsletter for some more information and special offers related to this (check the side bar for where to register for the newsletter). What thing have you been thinking about doing/starting for a while?
If we were at happy hour I would tell you that I have mixed feelings about the school year starting next week. Being on a modified year-round schedule means we only get a 7 week summer. I know the non-teachers are rolling their eyes, but oh well. The good part is I really like my school and my students (for the most part). I’m just not ready for the length of a full year again. What would you do with a full 7 weeks off work (for you non-teachers)? When do you go back for all you teachers?
If we were at happy hour I would tell you that we are going to have an abundance of zucchini from our garden that I’m excited and nervous about. I’ve been pinning zucchini recipes like crazy in preparation for the harvest. What are some of your favorite zucchini recipes?

If I had a week off of work where I could bring the little ones to daycare still I’d get caught up and beyond on cleaning, organizing and fixing the house. If the wee ones were still with me I’d plan awesome cheap adventures such as parks, fishing, hiking and swimming.
