Well I don’t know about you all, but I am chomping at the bit for this weekend to be here already. One of the perks of being a teacher is that both Rob and I get the entire week off! We are headed to Minnesota to visit and celebrate with Rob’s family. Friday at 4pm cannot come soon enough!
As we prepare for the food-filled holiday, I’ve noticed people have been upping their gym game. Whether it’s because they’re headed home to see family, training for a turkey trot, or just trying to create a calorie deficit so they can indulge, I’m loving the intensity!
This Quick and Dirty Legs workout is just the kind of thing you should be doing in preparation for pumpkin pie.
The compound moves mean you get a full body burn, while using weights allows you to burn more calories when you leave the gym as well. The added burpees are there to elevate your heart rate for even more calorie torching.
Throughout each move, remember to brace your core. Without that, your form will suffer and you might end up hurting your back.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for the Holiday Burn starting December 1st. It’s only $5 and your entire registration fee goes to Feeding America!

This looks great!!
I’m a bit bothered that my workouts have been so lame lately but I can’t do anything about it right now so I will just hit it hard when I can!!!
Thanks, Kim. It is a good one. Hopefully you will be back to it stronger than ever. Your body is just forcing you to take a break, which is not always a bad thing!
