Can you believe May is already upon us? I feel like this year has just gone by insanely fast.
With teaching winding down, my May is filling up rather quickly!
Things coming up in May I am pumped about:
- My end of year review (I had it today and it went great!)
- Volunteering with our church this weekend
- Teacher appreciation day with my district
- The school musical
- The LAST track meet
- Rob’s family coming to visit!
- The Colfax 5k
- A 4-day weekend!
There is just so much to be excited about.
Since it is a new month, and I was super inspired by this video:

I put together the Double P May Challenge. (Made you think..hehe.)
The goal of this challenge is to perfect your push up. All you have to do is a variation of 10, good, strong, solid push ups each day AND 60 seconds of a plank variation per day. After 31 days, push ups should be an easy, off your knees feat!
Here are links to the push up variations:
Here are links to the plank variations:
- Side Plank
- Over Unders
- Side Kicks
- Stacked – Stack one foot on top of the other as you complete a regular plank.
- Side Star
- Elevated – Rest your feet on something higher (chair, couch, bed).
I’m off to start day 1 and do both of these to exhaustion! (Pretty sure I’ll end up with a half push up off my knees.)

I love push-ups and planks and do some every week. I did them daily in January and might go along with your challenge – always a good thing!
Hooray!
