This picture pretty much sums up our Asia experience.
The locals, even the Vietnamese we worked with and saw everyday, could not get over both of our heights. One time on a train from Nha Trang to Da Nang, a passenger handed me his baby. Then he took a picture. And walked away.
He came back 10 minutes to collect his child.

When I first glanced at the picture I thought that was a child with you!!
Hahaha. That’s about the right height!
Ha! He took a picture and walked away leaving you with his KID? I had Chinese people want me to take pictures with their kids all the time, but none ever left me with them! That is hilarious!
I guess he just wanted a break from trying to entertain his child on a long train ride. I was worried he wouldn’t be back!
Ha ha ha ha , this was hilarious. Thanks for the laugh.
PS love these posts.
Thank you! I am having fun writing them.
I can’t believe he left the child! At least he came back!! I look forward to reading about your travel adventures – so fun!
I wasn’t sure if he was coming back!
