Today at 5:30, I will be boarding a plane to New York! Remember that invitation I showed you a few weeks ago? Well, that weekend is findally here!
Friday is full of wedding organization and finalizing a few plans, Saturday afternoon is my NY wedding shower, Saturday night is my NY bachelorette, Sunday is lunch with family and then back to Denver. Phew!
I have to leave work about an hour early and am just buzzing with excitment. All three of my sisters will be there, plus my best friend since middle school. Kate is sacraficing her apartment for Saturday night, Jackie is flying all the way in from London, Margot is giving up her last precious weekend before her intensive nursing program begins at NYU, and Amanda is making the trek all the way from D.C!
Goal of the weekend: Soak up as much family time as possible. This is one of the main reasons why I was adament to move back from Vietnam; I wanted to be able to hop on a plane and see my family for a weekend if an event called for it. I would say this is the perfect event!
See you all on Monday!
RQ: If you live far away, do you ever fly/drive home for a weekend? What is your ideal bachelorette party like?

WooHoo!! I missed the post with the invitation but went back and read it – looks like it will be epic!! Have a great weekend with family and friends as you celebrate YOU!!!
I live in NY too! 🙂
Hope you have a FUN FILLED WEEKEND! I can not wait to hear about it!!!!!!!
Hooray for NY!
I hope you made it out okay with this crazy rain!! Have a great time!
I almost didn’t make it to the airport because of all the highway closures! Good thing I left work a bit early.
HAVE FUN! I can’t wait to read all about your weekend. What a fun time 🙂
Right now traveling for a weekend isn’t in the budget. It makes me sad because I’d like to go to MI in October for my niece’s birthday!
Those flights are definitely not easy to budget for.
