Hello Hello! Summer has been so busy lately that I really haven’t had time to blog. Rob and I have a friend visiting for a few days and we have had some action packed days that have left me too exhausted to blog.
To tied you over, here are some random happenings from the past few days!
1. Went white water rafting today with AVA. It was amazing! The river guides were calm, cool, and collected while we paddled our way over class 3 and 4 rapids in some seriously fast water. Definitely go through them if you want a safe and fun way to experience white water. (This picture is from their website, but is pretty close to what it was like. Our water was bigger!)
2. The new beer garden area at Jake’s Brew Bar is a fun spot. Rob, his friend, and I stopped to check it out before dinner last night. I love the big picnic tables since you’re able to strike up a conversation with people sitting near by. It’s fun to get a short look into people’s lives when you chat for 5-10 minutes.
3. This birthday card from my little sister literally made me laugh out loud.
4. The winding road up to Mt. Evans is seriously scary. We drove about halfway up today after rafting and then opted to turn around. Rob and I will have to go back another time and try to tackle it again. At least the view from our turn around spot was gorgeous!
5. A puzzle has taken over my coffee table. Rob bought it as entertainment while I was at Blend and now if we’re on the couch, we’re puzzling.

Wow – you have been busy – glad your summer is off to a great start!!!
I love working puzzles!
It’s been busy in a good way! I’d rather be busy than bored though, so bring it on!
Rafting is awesome! We have some great rafting areas in Oregon that we hit up from time to time. I also love puzzles, especially during Christmas time. Cozies, hot cocoa (maybe with Baileys), fireplace, puzzle, bam!
My husband and I did a double feature today at the movie theater and were able to sneak in to the second movie. I felt like such a rebellious teenager, but figured we spend A LOT of money going to movies.
Puzzles over the holidays are the best. Good for you guys for sneaking into a movie! I haven’t done that since I was a teenager, but I always want to. Movies are so expensive these days.
