Happy New York City Marathon Day! With last year’s race being canceled due to hurricane Sandy, and all the heartbreak surrounding Boston, today’s race feels extremely special. I am currently live streaming the race. The elite racers are so impressive!
Today is also the first daylight savings I have had to turn the clocks back for in 5 years! Arizona and Vietnam get enough sun, so they don’t participate. I am not looking forward to going to work in the dark, but loved the extra hour this morning.
For the past few weeks, I have been a little lackluster in the gym. I needed a bit of a break after the wedding and felt myself just wandering the gym, half-commiting to the equipment.
The Boredom Buster Full Body Workout is one I created to get me moving in a more focused manner while fighting off the boredom I was feeling. It kept me moving and interested!
After your warm up, complete 3 rounds of Set 1 and then hop on the elliptical for 10 minutes. Then, 3 rounds of Set 2 and 10 minutes biking, then 3 rounds of Set 3, finishing with a 10 minute incline walk cool down.
If you’re following the 30-Day Full Body Challenge, this workout will give you:
30 chest/back, 30 biceps, 30 triceps, 60 quads/hams, 60 calf raises, 60 crunches, 120 obliques, 3 minutes plyos, and 40 minutes of cardio that you can add your mileage from.
RQ: Do you like to walk into the gym with a plan, or fly by the seat of your pants? How do you enjoy Daylight Savings?

Looks like a great workout!!!
I like to have a plan when I work out otherwise I don’t feel like I get a complete body workout done.
Agreed!
I try to always have a plan when I go to the gym, but sometimes I slack and end up aimlessly walking around, never “in the mood” to do this machine or that one. I do so much better if I have a plan or a goal of some kind. This workout looks great! I’ll have to give it a try this week.
I’m the same. I need the plan or it’s not happening.
