The past two weeks, I have let myself indulge in all the things I was being good about while getting wedding body ready. Though I was consciously not making the best eating choices, let me tell you, it was goo-ood.
Unfortunately, my body likes to do the this-won’t-catch-up-with-you-for-10-days thing, so I am just now feeling the effects, which I fully expected to feel. I went into the last two weeks knowing this would happen, so no surprises.
It’s time to get back on the wagon of healthy eats, cheat treats (not days), and solid workouts. I am in the process of developing some new challenges and goals to keep me focused and on track. They just make it so much easier for me to hit the gym hard.
Here were last week’s workouts. I’ve had a bit more focus on cardio, since I don’t have the 9000 in 90 Days Challenge to lead me to lifting anymore.
Monday: 10:00 min jog / circuit / 10:00 min elliptical / circuit / 10:00 min bike / circuit / 10:00 min incline walk
Tuesday: 30:00 min run (3.36 miles) with inclines and speed / legs
Wednesday: 60 min walk/run combo (6 miles)
Thursday: off
Friday: off
Saturday: Pumpkin Haul race = 19:00 min (1.65 miles) carrying a 15-pound pumpkin
Sunday: 1:04:00 run (7.15 miles)

Lately I’ve been indulging (over-indulging actually) in the Candy Corn Oreos – I have to cut myself off!!! Good thing they are seasonal!
Those sound amazing.
What keeps me motivated? knowing how it makes me feel…and that it makes me a happier person
Same here. It’s amazing how different you feel when you’re consistent with eating right and working out.
OMG! Did you make the pancakes? They look delicious! My motivation has been lacking but maybe tomorrow AM I will think of you as my alarm goes off at 5:15 and I will actually get out of bed to workout since I have the AM time now.
I didn’t make them, they were from brunch, but I think they would be so easy to do. They were super tasty! I am a fan of AM workouts. Get it done before the rest of the day gets in the way.
Those pancakes have become my new motivation!!!
Woot! They were delicious. Best part, I didn’t have to chop the cranberries.
