In exactly five days, I marry my best friend.
I spent some time going through pictures of Rob and I from the past 4 years of dating. I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane.
The amazing thing, is I have found someone who wants to adventure as much as me, has crazy/half-thoughtout ideas like me, and never groans when I start a sentence with, “So I’ve been thinking…”
Our first race together, Rob and Lynnette ran the half while I ran the full. We were so young and awkward!
Our first long camping/hiking/road trip through Colorado and Utah. If you can live three weeks out of a car with someone and shower approximately 3 times, it must be love.
A silly picture of looking for directions. Our faces describe us perfectly. Me scheming, Rob just smiling at what I might possibly do next.
Getting stuck in multiple slot canyons together and not freaking out.
Rob’s first time seeing me in a dress at my sisters wedding. This is about two years in. No joke people, me in a dress…not a common sight.
Welcome to Vietnam insanity:
Loving us some Japan,
Rice wine in the villages of Vietnam,
Rob proposes in Thailand. Can you believe he still wants to marry me after all this? How did I get so lucky?

This is great! My fiance is the one person who can calm all my crazy, and get me to relax. Plus he makes me laugh until I hyperventalate.
Those are the perfect traits for him to have to balance you out! Rob is the same way with me.
Love this!!!
My husband is the same way…he doesn’t roll his eyes when I say “So I’ve been thinking…” lol!!
Thank goodness they don’t roll their eyes at us. I don’t know what I’d do.
I love this post! Especially the picture of him smiling while you scheme 🙂
I love my husband’s kindness. He is effortlessly sincere and genuine and I so admire that about him.
FIVE DAYS!!!
Thank you for the count down! Can you believe it?!
It takes me some effort sometimes to be completely sincere and genuine. What a wonderful trait to have in your husband.
I’ve been wondering – what did y’all do in Vietnam?
I’m so excited for you – just a few more days!!!!
My husband is one of those people who loves to wait on people – not gonna lie, I love letting him refill my water (and wine) glass in the evenings while we hang out!
We went over to teach at an international school for a year. We did less teaching and more traveling. It was quite a year.
What a guy you have! Such service! I love it.
