Our wedding is 10 days away. 10 days! There might be a little bit of shock going on over here.
Being ten days out means I can officially start obsessing over the weather forecast. Not that I don’t have a bunch of other things to do, but you know, details.
Don’t let me down weather. Saturday looks perfect.
10 days out also means we are getting lots and lots of presents!
Since we live in Denver and the wedding is in New York, most people have opted to mail their presents. The current state of our living room:
I am not complaining. We have gotten some seriously awesome gifts. Most recent, this epicness from my sisters:
I cannot WAIT to use it! Excuse me while I spend the rest of my night on Pinterest looking up delicious things to make in it.

I had a really nice Kitchen Aid that I hardly ever used so I sold it for super cheap to a friend who really wanted one and couldn’t spend a lot – at least now it is getting the use it deserves.
10 days!!!
Oh my! My wedding shower is in VA in a few weeks and my cousin who insisted on hosting the shower is planning to mail it all back to me in a big package or something. We really tried to ask for no gifts, but the cousins and aunts would not hear of it. I tried to ask for unique and handmade things that will remind me of the person. I won’t lie, though, that Kitchen Aid looks fantastic!
I also got a KitchenAid as a wedding gift and I absolutely love it. It makes amazing mashed potatoes. Also, it whips cheesecake real nice! Mine is the classic white, but I love the purple you have!
It was so much fun to have a gift of some kind arrive nearly everyday for 2 months (my bridal shower was in August, wedding in October). It was like Christmas morning over and over and over again. We got mainly kitchen stuff and money. We put the money towards some furniture and it also covered our honeymoon. 🙂
10 days! AH!
oooohhh….cheesecake! Where did you go on your honeymoon?
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
Hahahaha! My thoughts exactly!
