Monday at the gym, my body was exhausted. I barely made it through 10 minutes on the bike and a few bicep burls and lunges before I decided to call it quits. I just wasn’t feeling it.
After taking Tuesday off, I hit the gym on Wednesday feeling energized, refreshed, and strong. It’s amazing what a day off can do!
In my effort to lift heavier, I followed this workout after a 20-minutes warm up on the bike. (I am still babying my foot so I will be ship-shape for a weekend of camping and hiking.)
This workout because it forces you to push yourself to lift heavier. It feels like I am getting stronger and finally starting to see the benefits. The 9000 in 90 Days Challenge has really pushed me to focus on lifting and I’m loving it. I was able to do bicep curls with 20 pounds!
Now I’m off to a weekend of camping in the Rocky Mountains. I hope you all enjoy your three day weekends!

I have just started trying to lift heavier in the past 2 years or so. That workout looks like a great way to really increase the load.
Have fun camping!

You’re a rockstar! Enjoy your camping weekend…
I love the feeling of being able to see the difference when you work your body out hard. The 30-day shred was one of those times for me for sure.
It is an amazing experience.
