When & Where

This 5 day challenge starts Monday, February 22, 2021 – Friday, February 26, 2021 and will be run in the Wrecking Routine Facebook Group.

Benefits of Joining The Challenge

You know you are supposed to eat vegetables, but sometimes making yet another salad, chopping another head of broccoli, or figuring out what to pair with the rest of your meal is mundane and time consuming.

In the 5 For 5 Vegetable Challenge, you will:

  • boost your energy
  • get new ideas for ways to incorporate lots of vegetables into your day
  • balance your diet
  • eat 5 servings of vegetables consistently

“I have been working in my weight and better eating habits for some time now. I’m always up for a challenge. This challenge forced me to change and add more vegetables to my plates. That in turn filled me faster and kept me more regular. More water was a plus to help with washing down a few undesirable veggies that I forced myself to try,” – Janet

How It Works

Once you register by entering your name and email here, you will receive a free PDF containing:

  • a list of the most nutritious and sweetest vegetables
  • vegetable-loaded meal ideas
  • snack ideas that include vegetables
  • a vegetable planning chart

Once the challenge starts on Monday, February 22, there will be daily accountability check ins via the Wrecking Routine Facebook Group.

You will also receive a daily email with a tip to make eating 5 servings of vegetables easy and realistic for your busy life.

Before I learned how to eat well for my body, I would put a drained can of lentil soup on top of whole wheat pasta, cover it in parmesan, and praise my culinary ingenuity.

Now, I eat vegetable-loaded meals every night of the week (including 4-5 nights of Meatless Meals).

My energy is consistently high (or moderate-high with the sleep deprivation that comes with three children under 5 years old), my skin is clearer, and my weight has been even for the past 10 years.

With strategic meal planning, a willingness to experiment with cooking, and an awareness of how incredibly good more vegetables make me feel, I will never go back to my lentils-over-pasta ways.
