*I was provided with a Camelbak Relay at the Blend 2014 Retreat. The company contacted me to host a giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are my own, but the amount of water you should drink is fact.
How much water do you drink in a day?
Be honest now.
The rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces every. single. day. That’s before you factor in exercise. Let’s do some math. 160 pounds divided by two is 80. That means I need 80 ounces per day. I’ve talked more about the importance of hydration during the summer here.
I average about 96 to 128 ounces, more if I have a strenuous workout.
Living in Vietnam for year, our water was delivered to our door. However, sometimes the water company would just be “out” of water, meaning we would spend a few days or up to a week buying water 5 gallons at a time. Since drinking the tap water was out of the question, having clean water at my finger tips is a luxury I refuse to give up again.
Enter the Camelbak Relay. This handy water filtration system ensures that there is extremely clean, filtered, and cold water ready to go whenever I need it. It actually perfectly holds 10 cups of water, which equals out to 80 ounces; the exact amount of water I need per day.
Unlike other water filtration systems, where you run the tap, wait for the device to filter, run the tap again, wait again, the Relay filters as fast the faucet. Seriously, it took no time at all.

What I also love about the Relay is it’s compact size. Some other water filtration systems I’ve used are pretty bulky and take up decent fridge space. The Relay fit just fine after our weekly Costco trip.
Other things to know about the Relay?
- It double filters. Once when you poor water in, again when you poor water out.
- The lid locks into place. No more water everywhere!
- It’s dishwasher safe.
- It has a change filter reminder. Started in July, change it in October.

This is a “no brainer”!!!! It does all the work for you…..exactly the amount needed….and a reminder of when to change the filter!!
I do not drink enough water….NEED TO! I love the features, shape and quantity the Camelbak holds!!!! Choose me and I will “blab” it to all my mid 50 girlfriends who work out constantly!!!!
It is definitely the best water filtration system I have seen. So user friendly!
I like that it measures the water for you, so you know, if I drink all of this, I am good for the day! That would be so helpful. Right now I just drink an assortment of different size water bottles and its hard to keep track if I drank as much as I needed.
I love that it is the perfect measurement. Then you know how much you have left to drink in your day. Pretty helpful.
I think I drink enough water but I never count. I usually just drink a bunch of pint glasses. So this would be great! Thanks for the giveaway!
I count in nalgene refills.
I drink a TON of water. I’d love to have this for work… our water there is not good (as in, there were signs up last summer saying not to give it to babies). We have a Culligan machine, but it’s in the sick room, so if there’s a sick kid…no water for me.
How can they have water like that at a school?!
This would be pretty sweet to have! My husband drinks so much water and he hates waiting for our current product to fill up. I have been trying to drink more water as well since it is summer and I am marathon training. I think this would be a great addition to our refrigerator!
PS~The last clip in the video is my husband. Our lid never stays on and he gets angry every time!!!!
The other systems take forever!
This would be perfect as I hydrate over the summer while training for marathon #2.
Which marathon are you running?
I drink more water if it is slightly chilled. 🙂
