This week’s Tall Tales post is going to be a short one as I am getting back into the swing of things after a super fun, family-filled weekend. More on that tomorrow!

While exploring the fish market in Busan, South Korea, Rob and I stumbled upon this duo. The younger women was slicing up some fresh squid for the gentleman to the right of the camera, while her partner was just chowing down on her delivered lunch of kimchi and dak galbi (a stir fry dish).

I just adore this video. The working woman, getting in there, elbows deep to make a penny. The older woman watching her work and making no apologies for savoring her afternoon meal.

The fact that the older woman could eat so enthusiastically among the smells, innards, and wetness of the fish market just amazes me every time I watch it.

RQ: Have you ever explored a fish market? Would you be able to stomach your lunch in the middle of it all?
