I have to apologize for my lack of posting/blog reading this last week and weekend. I am trying to find the balance between head coaching, working out, and blogging. Please bear with me through the next 3 weeks as the season comes to a close!
Since I am still finding the balance, you are in for another bullet list post. Hooray!
Saturday was a track meet. The team did well with kiddos besting their bests from last week. Proud mama bear all the way. Because track meets last all day, I usually pack breakfast and lunch for the team. A group of 9 polished this off no problem. (There was honey, PB, granola bars, and fruit snacks in the cooler.)
Then they were totally exhausted on the way home. Too funny.
Rob and I went to church on Saturday evening, so we could have Sunday to ourselves. Good thing too since Rob planned an Easter egg hunt for me! It is quite a feat to hide 14 eggs in our tiny apartment. I was so impressed and had a blast searching for them!
After the hunt, I headed out for a run since Sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day. 6 miles went by in a flash.
Monday was back to the grind, but I put together a new, more-effective-to-my-lifestyle planner that I am completely, totally nerded out about.
Now I am staring at a pile of bananas that the track kids didn’t eat and wondering what to make that isn’t just banana bread. Any suggestions are more than welcome!

I don’t think I ever slept on the bus – high school and college 1,000s of miles logged for CC and track trips!
Can you freeze the bananas?
You can! The skin turns an ugly brown, but I’ve done it a couple times, they defrost just fine for banana bread, and smoothies.
Bananas foster waffles?
Banana Splits?

There are some genius ideas there. and healthy too!
Awesome! Thank you!
My Easter was super mellow which is just what I needed!
I think it is adorable that Rob hid 14 eggs! Love it 🙂
