As soon as track practice was over today I zipped home to change and ran to a park 5 minutes from my apartment for a 20 minute bodyweight workout.

With all the running training I’ve been doing in preparation for the marathon in May, my strength and weight workouts have been lacking.

It was too beautiful to be stuck in the gym, and I didn’t feel like following a strict workout, so I just kind of mixed things up. What happened was this sweat fest:

20-Minute Boredom Figher Workout

Complete each move in order one time through. Don’t rest more than 10 seconds. I finished in 20 minutes and then ran home.

I’m usually not a fan of workouts that don’t follow an order, rhyme, or reason, but this was exactly what I needed today. Quick, sweaty, tiring. Perfect for a Friday.

Tomorrow I’m at an all day track meet, so I probably won’t see you all until Sunday. Have a fabulous Saturday!
