Happy Fourth everyone!
Since being back in America for a full month now, I have found myself appreciating all those little things that we take for granted. Vietnam really opened my eyes to how truly lucky we all are to live here.
Just a few things I am thrilled to have back:
- regular garbage pickup / no trash on the streets
- food regulations (MSG bans, expiration dates, kitchen quality)
- refrigeration
- sidewalks you can walk on
- cool, dry air (not in Arizona right now, though)
- being near family
- traffic order
- comfy couches
- good beer!
- soft beds
- being able to look people in the eye
The list goes on. Yes, I realize most of these things are superficial, but they were sincerely missed!
I wanted to share a workout with. In case you can’t get to the gym today, but still want to sweat for a bit, here is the 3-3 Total Body Circuit for your workout pleasure. Three sets, three times each. Enjoy!
Have a wonderful fourth!

I think traveling definitely makes you appreciate home more! It is fun to experience new cultures but home is home 🙂
Happy 4th Brooke!
And it is so good to be home!
You make Vietnam seem terrifying.
Hahaha. Not terrifying, just different. Interesting place to visit, but not somewhere I want to live.
