You voted, I counted. The Wrecking Routine Book Club choice for the month of February is:
Girl Walks into a Bar by Rachel Dratch.
I will post a review of the book on February 26 and would love to hear your reviews as well.
Goals
One of my life-long Bucket List goals is to write a novel. I decided to finally get the ball rolling this month and challenged myself to write at least 1,000 words a day for the entire month of January. This is the quote that inspired the whole thing: (the time will pass anyway)
I have heard that one of the hardest parts of becoming a writer is actually sitting down to write. It’s absolutely true. Making the time was probably the biggest obstacle of this challenge. I am extremely proud to tell you that 41,680 words and 143 pages later, I have accomplished my January task.
The draft is not yet done, but I am loving the momentum I have created for myself.
New Workout
In honor of my 1,000 words per day, I have a full body, 1,000 rep workout to share with you all. The idea of this workout is to move between arms, legs, cardio, and core moves to get all the major areas moving. It’s a fairly quick workout and I like to complete it twice through.

Looking forward to reading the book! Yes, I am inspired by quotes. My favorite at the moment, “”Sometimes surrender means giving up trying to understand and becoming comfortable with not knowing.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
And I have lived my life following your quote above. My mom once told me when I was debating continuing college at 21: “You can be 24 with a degree or without a degree. Might as well get it.”
Your mom made a good point. It just makes sense.
WOW! you did great in your January writing goal – that’s amazing!
Yes, I love quotes and sayings – I search the internet for new and meaningful ones daily!
Thanks! I am just starting to get into the quotes thing. It’s turning out to be really powerful.
