As a mom of 3 children under 6 and owner of multiple businesses, I know exactly how frustrating making changes to your health can be from the overwhelm of information on what to do to falling instantly back into old ways that are not serving you. 

I used to sit down every Sunday and write a list of all the restrictions and “health” to dos I would enforce on myself Monday morning. 

Monday would start and I would be on top of my list, checking items off left and right.

Come Wednesday night, I would start to “slip”. By Friday night, I had completely strayed from my self-imposed restrictions and would spend the weekend running long distances, then walking through the grocery store to pick out whatever I wanted to eat because “I deserve it”. 

I finally became fed up with not losing any weight, not getting any stronger, and not running any faster. I started learning how to cook, experimenting with recipes, strength training, and building healthy habits that were sustainable, increased my energy, and didn’t take up all of my time. 

My energy increased, my focus improved, and my body responded really well to the myriad of healthy nutrients and types of workouts I was giving it.

After having three kids in just three and a half years, I used these 7 healthy habits I had built into my weeks to lose the baby weight after all three births, eat well, and adapt my workout plan to incorporate effective, at home workouts.
