With all the information coming out everyday on different health benefits of particular foods and the rules for movement, it can be extremely overwhelming to figure out where to start when trying to improve your health. So many people fall into specific diet fads, attempt crash diets, and engage in health behaviors that can do more harm than good to a body.

A Health Coach is there to help you wade through all that information and find habits that work for you that are sustainable and realistic to your busy lifestyle without feeling overwhelmed or like you are in a deprived state of eating.

Health Coaches are trained in a number of different areas related to health. This includes nutrition guidelines and research, behavior change patterns, and physical activity. Many Health Coaches, myself included, are also certified Personal Trainers, which makes their knowledge base even deeper.

When you work with a Health Coach, you are not getting a prescribed diet or fitness plan. Instead, you are getting individualized strategies and goals that focus on your specific health, fitness, and mindset needs. Each Health Coaching client, and session, is unique to the person as no two health needs are the same.

As a Health Coach who predominantly coaches working moms, we spend our time together focusing on you as the whole person. This includes nutrition, fitness, mindset, and emotions. All of these things combine to create a whole, healthy person. Together, we will implement strategies and habits that take out the overwhelm and seamlessly integrate into your busy life, so not only can you improve your own health, but that of your family as well. The ultimate goal is to create a lasting change in your health habits so your weight can stop fluctuating and you can stop feeling frustrated.
