I’m happy to report that the past few days have been extremely productive!
With long school breaks, I always worry that I won’t get everything done that I want to, but I have been on top of it the past few days.
One of those to-do list items were to peruse this cookbook my parents gave me at Christmas. There is so many delicious things to make!
A second list item was to make a few workout videos. I have some serious respect for people who make profession, or amateur, workout videos. It is not easy!
My question for all you running fiends, is how do you run in the snow? While exploring some trails, there were patches of packed snow.
In my running sneakers, I was slipping about a bit and had to walk a bunch. What are your snow running strategies?
RQ: How do you run in the snow? Are you productive during breaks from work?

I don’t. I’ve sprained my ankle enough to avoid it at all costs. I will run an extra 5 miles to run around that stuff.
Ouch! I think I am getting to that point too.
Yak Trax help a lot. Its a problem here to wait until all of the snow is gone; it can take until June!
I might have to invest…
I honestly just slow my pace and be careful. I have ran on the snow with my sneakers and I haven’t had a problem. I have slipped a couple of times but haven’t hurt myself, thankfully. Hopefully we won’t have to worry about snow much longer 🙂
Hopefully not!
Ummm….I don’t run in the snow!! Treadmill!! (I’m a weak wimp and don’t mind!) Glad you are enjoying your break!
I’m getting to be that way too. Treadmill when it’s snowy.
