The track kids did so well on Wednesday! Compared to their performances from Saturday, I am really proud of them. They knew how a meet worked, were one of the most well-behaved teams there, and a few of them scored first and second in their heats!
Proud mama bear all the way right here. The fact that it was a gorgeous day was icing on the cake.
Yesterday was a go, go, go kind of day. After practice, I zipped over to the park by my house for a sweaty, 15-minute polymeric workout.
When I was done, I tried filming my first ever workout video, but managed to cut off my head. Poor filming skills or tall girl problems?
As soon as I finished my botched film and a quick shower at home, Rob and I went to see his high school’s musical.
It wasn’t great, but the actors looked like they were having fun up there and that’s what matters!
RQ: Do you try and fit in quick workouts when you have limited time, or just skip it all together? How are/were your high school’s plays?

Pretty much the reason I get up so early to work out is that I know I won’t fit in anything if I save it until later in the day. Great job making it happen even with your busy day.
Jordan’s high school actually does some really good plays/musicals.
Not only fitting it in, but getting the motivation to workout in the afternoon after a full day is really hard for me.
I never really went to my HS musical’s. I think the #1 reason was that I didn’t have ride. My parents didn’t see what the big deal was.
I try to squeeze in a workout but if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit. I try not to stress but sometimes I stress too much and feel like a loser about it!
You shouldn’t feel like a loser! Life happens!
Oh fun! What was the musical? I love watching high school musicals; those kids are so talented. I never had any of that type of talent at that age. Funny about your video-at least you get the point, right? Your head is not important!
It was called, “In the Heights”. It had a lot of rap and modern troubles, so the kids seemed to like it.
