Things have been quite hectic around here this week.
Monday, I started my sort of new job. Naturally, I didn’t get any sleep the night before and have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off all week. (Or, the Vietnamese version: hopping around like a frog tied to a bunch of other frogs.)
Tuesday, we had a shortened schedule at work in honor of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. They had a 1,000 person dinner/show thing that started at 4 and didn’t end until 9:30. It was a huge to-do. Rob and I left around 8 in the pursuit of food.
Anyway, because of this insanity, I feel quite out of my routine, which I am rather enjoying. The only downside is I haven’t had time to get to the gym. I managed a 30 minute run before work on Tuesday morning, but that’s it so far. No weekly challenge stuff and no gym visits.
To make up for it, I wanted to share my Cardio Countdown workout with you all. This is a quick, equipment-free workout that will definitely get you sweating. When you only have a short amount of time and want to burn some calories, this is definitely a good option.
You can complete the moves in any number of ways. Like, 10 MK lunges and then 15 squat jacks. As long as you finish it all, you’re good.
Off to do more chicken-without-a-head things!
Reader Question: How do you burn calories when you don’t have time for an “official” workout?
